Preparation: Thoroughly rinse the dried fruits and soak them in warm water for 1 hour to plump up. Boil clean water, add the dried fruits, and simmer for 25-30 minutes over low heat. Finally, add sugar and citric acid, cook for another 2-3 minutes, and let the compote cool under the lid.

3. Dried Fruit Compote with Honey and Poppy Seeds

You will need: 300 g mixed dried fruits, 2.5 L water, 120-150 g honey, 1 tbsp poppy seeds, 3 clove buds.
Preparation: Rinse and cover the dried fruits with cold water, bring to a boil, and simmer for half an hour under the lid over low heat. Add poppy seeds and cloves, remove the drink from heat, and let it cool slightly. Then pour in the honey, stir until dissolved, and let the compote steep for another 3-4 hours.
