Sometimes it's hard to come up with an idea for a quick and tasty snack. That's when hot sandwiches with sausage in an air fryer always come to the rescue! Of course, you can make regular sandwiches, but an air fryer helps to quickly brown the bread and make the filling especially appetizing. We're sharing a great, tried-and-tested recipe!

Prep time: 15 minutes.
Servings: 8.

Ingredients

  • 8 slices of white bread;
  • 200 g boiled sausage;
  • 100 g hard cheese;
  • 2 tomatoes;
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise;
  • 2-3 sprigs of fresh herbs;
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper.

Step-by-Step Recipe

  1. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater, finely chop the herbs, and dice the boiled sausage and tomatoes.
  2. Mix together the sausage, tomatoes, cheese, mayonnaise, herbs, and ground black pepper.
  3. Spread this filling evenly over the slices of white bread.
  4. Arrange the sandwiches in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving a small space between them.
  5. Cook the sandwiches for about 6-8 minutes in the air fryer at 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit), until the cheese is completely melted.
