Source: Brent Hofacker, AdobeStockIf you want to cook tender meat without much hassle, baking in foil is an excellent solution. This method helps retain the natural juices inside, so even lean tenderloin turns out soft and doesn't dry out. We'll share a step-by-step recipe on how to bake pork tenderloin in foil in the oven so it stays truly juicy!
Prep time: 2 hours.
Servings: 6.
Ingredients
- 800 g pork tenderloin;
- 1 carrot;
- 3-4 cloves garlic;
- 2 bay leaves;
- 50 ml soy sauce;
- 20 ml vegetable oil;
- salt and spices for meat.
Step-by-Step Recipe
- Thoroughly wash and pat dry the pork tenderloin with paper towels. Make small incisions on it with a knife.
- Peel and cut the carrot into thin sticks. Slice the garlic and break the bay leaves into pieces. Insert all of these into the incisions in the tenderloin.
- Next, rub the pork with salt and spices to taste, then mix soy sauce with vegetable oil and marinate the meat in this marinade for at least 30 minutes.
- Afterward, wrap the pork tenderloin tightly in foil and place it in an oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius (350°F). Bake for approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.
- To allow excess moisture to evaporate and achieve an appetizing crust, unwrap the foil 15 minutes before the end of cooking.
