A good marinade largely determines the quality of the finished shish kebab. It helps the meat become more aromatic, retain its juiciness, and enhance its flavor. Today, we'll share a marinade recipe that's wonderfully suited for pork neck shish kebab!

Prep time: 15 minutes.
Servings: 1.

Ingredients

  • 3 onions;
  • 5-6 cloves of garlic;
  • 4 tablespoons vegetable oil;
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce;
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice;
  • 2 teaspoons sweet paprika;
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander;
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano;
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper;
  • 1 teaspoon salt.

Step-by-Step Recipe

  1. Peel and slice the onions into thin half-rings. Lightly crush them with your hands to release their juice.
  2. Peel and press the garlic cloves, then add them to the onions.
  3. Pour in the vegetable oil, soy sauce, and lemon juice. Add salt, sweet paprika, coriander, oregano, and ground black pepper.
  4. Mix the marinade thoroughly until the spices are evenly distributed.
  5. This prepared marinade is enough for approximately 2 kg of pork neck shish kebab. Marinate the meat for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight in the refrigerator.
