Essentially, it's dried and beautifully cut berry puree. During winter, store the finished pastille in dry glass jars or containers. We're sharing 15 excellent recipes!

1. Sugar-Free Gooseberry Pastille

Just gooseberries and nothing else!

You will need: 1 kg gooseberries.

Preparation: Remove the stems from the gooseberries and blend them into a puree. If desired, strain the mixture through a sieve. Spread it thinly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and dry the pastille in the oven or dehydrator for up to 8 hours at 50-60 degrees Celsius.

Add sugar and citric acid, and cook the mixture for another 10 minutes. Pour into dehydrator trays and cook according to instructions. Periodically swap the trays during drying.
