You will need: 300 g margarine, 2 eggs, 300 g sugar, 700 g flour, 1 tsp baking powder, vanilla.

Preparation: Beat soft margarine with eggs and sugar using a mixer, add dry ingredients, and quickly knead the dough. Wrap it in film, refrigerate for half an hour, then roll out and cut the cookies. Bake for 15 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees.

2. Jam Pie with Margarine

A beloved pie from childhood – just like mom used to make.

You will need: 200 g margarine, 1 egg, 100 g sugar, 300 g flour, 1 tsp baking powder, 300-350 g thick jam.

Preparation: Beat soft margarine with sugar using a mixer, beat in the egg, and beat again. Gradually add sifted flour with baking powder, knead the dough, and divide it into two unequal parts. Send the smaller part to the freezer for half an hour, and the larger part to the refrigerator.

After that, roll out the larger part of the dough into a pan or baking sheet, form the pie edges, and spread the jam. Grate the dough from the freezer, sprinkle it over the pie, and bake for about 30 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees.

Divide the dough into two parts, roll out the first part for the base of the kurnik and place it on parchment paper. Add the filling, cover with the second layer of dough, and beautifully crimp the edges. Make a hole in the center of the pie for steam and, if desired, decorate the kurnik with dough figures. Brush with egg yolk and bake for 45 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees.

Preparation: Dissolve dry yeast and a pinch of sugar in warm water, leave the resulting starter for 10-15 minutes. Separately, beat eggs with sugar and salt using a mixer. Mix all this with milk, soft margarine, and the starter, and gradually add sifted flour. Knead thoroughly, leave the dough in a warm place for 1 hour, then pour vegetable oil over it, knead again, and leave in a warm place for another 1 hour. After this, you can proceed to make the savory pies.
