Everyone knows about various grape beverages, especially alcoholic ones. But that's far from the only thing you can make with this berry. Moreover, there are many grape varieties with different tastes – ideal conditions for culinary experiments. We're sharing a selection of the best recipes for baked goods, desserts, salads, appetizers, and winter preserves!

1. Grape Pie

It's best to cut large grapes in half, while small ones can be left whole.

You will need: 400 g grapes, 300 g flour, 200 ml milk, 2 eggs, 10 g baking powder, 100 g sugar, 40 ml vegetable oil.

Preparation: Whisk eggs with sugar until fluffy. Add oil, then half of the flour, and then milk. Sift in the remaining flour with baking powder, add half of the grapes to the batter, and pour it into a baking dish. Arrange the remaining grapes on top. Bake the pie for 45-50 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius.

You will need: 1 kg grapes, 3 bay leaves, 10 black peppercorns, 6 cloves, 1.5 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp mustard seeds, 1 liter water, 1 tsp salt, 2 tbsp sugar, 70 ml vinegar.

Preparation: Pour boiling water over the grapes for 1 minute and drain them in a colander. Place them in sterilized jars and add all the spices. Boil water with sugar and salt, add vinegar, pour over the grapes, and seal with lids.

You will need: 1 cucumber, 1/2 avocado, 2 sprigs parsley, 100 g grapes, 30 g lettuce, 30 g arugula, 20 g walnuts, 1 tsp wine vinegar, 1 tsp grainy mustard, 1 tbsp olive oil.

Preparation: Chop the walnuts and parsley, roughly chop all ingredients, and mix the salad. Combine olive oil, wine vinegar, and mustard for the dressing.

A simple, yet very impressive and delicious dessert.

You will need: 450-500 g grapes, 400 g sour cream, 1 can condensed milk, 25 g gelatin, 70 ml water.

Preparation: Dissolve gelatin in water according to package instructions. Whisk sour cream until fluffy, gradually pour in condensed milk (continuing to whisk), add gelatin, and whisk again. Place grapes in a mold, pour the sour cream mixture over them, and refrigerate until set.

5. Grape and Apple Compote

You will need: 3 apples, 350 g grapes, 300 g sugar, 3 liters water.

Preparation: Boil water with sugar and cook for 1 minute. Add grapes and sliced apples. Simmer the compote for 10 minutes with the lid on.

Knead the dough thoroughly and leave it in a warm place for 1 hour. Then divide the dough in half and roll out two rectangles. Generously spread grapes on the first layer, sprinkle with spices, cover with the second layer, and again spread grapes. Sprinkle with spices and sugar.

Bake the pie for 40 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius, basting it a couple of times with the dripping grape juice. Let it cool in the same juice for several hours.

7. Grape Jam

It's most convenient to make it from seedless Kishmish grapes or other small seedless varieties.

You will need: 400 g grapes, 200 g sugar, 10 g vanilla sugar, 500 ml water.

Preparation: Place all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Simmer the grapes for 15 minutes over low heat and seal in sterilized jars.
