Ingredients
- 600 g carrots;
- 60-80 g semolina;
- 1 chicken egg;
- 40 g butter;
- 100 ml milk;
- 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs;
- salt to taste;
- vegetable oil for frying.
Step-by-Step Recipe
- Peel and grate the carrots on a fine grater, then stew them in a saucepan with butter and milk for 10 minutes over low heat.
- Gradually add the semolina, mix well, and cook for another 5-7 minutes until the mixture thickens. Let it cool completely.
- Beat in the egg, salt, and mix the carrot mixture until smooth. If it's too liquid, let it sit for another 10 minutes for the semolina to fully swell.
- Form small patties, roll them in breadcrumbs, and place them on a preheated frying pan with vegetable oil.
- Fry the carrot patties for 3-4 minutes on each side over medium heat. Serve with sour cream or natural yogurt. Enjoy your meal!
