Prep time: 2 hours 20 minutes.
Servings: 8.
Ingredients
- 1.4 kg pork loin, in one piece;
- 5-6 cloves garlic;
- 2 tablespoons whole grain mustard;
- 2 tablespoons olive oil;
- 1 teaspoon sweet paprika;
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary;
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper;
- 1 teaspoon salt.
Step-by-Step Recipe
- Wash and pat dry the pork loin with paper towels. Make small, deep incisions all over the surface of the meat with a knife.
- Peel and slice the garlic thinly. Insert the slices into the prepared incisions.
- Mix the whole grain mustard, olive oil, paprika, rosemary, salt, and ground black pepper. Rub this marinade evenly over all sides of the pork and let it marinate for 30 minutes in the refrigerator to allow the meat to absorb the spices.
- Then, tightly wrap the loin in two layers of foil and transfer it to a baking dish.
- Bake the dish for 1 hour 30 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius (350°F). After that, unwrap the foil and bake the pork loin for another 20 minutes until a delicious golden-brown crust forms.
