Homemade buzhenina is perfect not only for a festive table but also for everyday sandwiches or salads. Turkey fillet is considered leaner meat, so it's especially important to bake it in a way that keeps the buzhenina juicy. We share a proven recipe for oven-baked turkey fillet buzhenina with step-by-step instructions!

Ingredients

  • 1 kg turkey fillet;
  • 3-4 cloves garlic;
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil;
  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika;
  • 1 teaspoon dried garlic;
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil;
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper;
  • 1 teaspoon salt.

Step-by-Step Recipe

  1. Thoroughly wash and pat dry the turkey fillet with paper towels. Make small incisions all over the meat with a knife.
  2. Peel and slice the garlic thinly, then insert the slices into the incisions.
  3. Mix vegetable oil, sweet paprika, dried garlic, basil, salt, and ground black pepper. Rub the turkey fillet with the prepared marinade and let it marinate for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  4. After marinating, transfer the turkey to an oven-safe dish, cover with foil, and bake for 45-50 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius (350°F).
  5. Then remove the foil and bake the meat for another 15 minutes for an appetizing crust. Before slicing and serving, be sure to let the finished buzhenina cool completely. Enjoy your meal!
