You will need: 300 ml kefir, 300 g whole wheat flour, 0.75 tsp baking powder, salt, sugar or sugar substitute, sesame seeds.

Instructions: Add salt and sugar to room temperature kefir. Stir in the flour and sesame seeds, knead the dough thoroughly, and shape it into a loaf. Place it on parchment paper, make decorative cuts, and bake the bread for 45-50 minutes in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius.

Another plus is that this bread is incredibly budget-friendly.

You will need: 250 ml water, 450-500 g whole wheat flour, 1.5 tsp active dry yeast, 2 tbsp sugar, 1 tsp salt, 1 tbsp olive oil, seeds and kernels, spices.

Instructions: Mix warm water, yeast, salt, sugar, and olive oil. Add seeds and spices to taste, and gradually mix in the flour. Knead the dough well and leave it in a warm place for 30-40 minutes.

After that, shape one or two loaves; you can sprinkle them with extra seeds or flour. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and place a container of water inside. Bake the bread for 35-40 minutes, but after 15-20 minutes, remove the water from the oven – steam is no longer needed.

3. Rye and Whole Wheat Bread

You will need: 250 ml water, 250 g whole wheat flour, 100 g rye flour, 1 tsp active dry yeast, 1 tbsp olive oil, 25 g pumpkin seeds, salt, sugar, spices, aromatic herbs.

Instructions: Set aside about 50 g of whole wheat flour and mix all remaining dry ingredients. Pour warm water into the well, knead the dough, and finally mix in the pumpkin seeds. Leave the dough in a warm place for 1 hour, then mix in the remaining flour.

Grease the dough with oil and shape it into a loaf, leave it in a warm place for another 40 minutes. Then, if desired, make cuts, brush the bread with milk, and sprinkle with seeds. Bake it for approximately 40-45 minutes in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius. Cover the finished bread with a cotton towel and let it rest for a while longer.
