We offer interesting recipes for dishes that can be quickly and easily prepared even from yesterday's rice. They turn out hearty and varied, and this approach helps to use products as efficiently as possible!

1. Rice Fritters

Slightly overcooked rice, like for porridge, works best here.

You will need: 1.5 cups cooked rice, 1 egg, 2 tbsp sugar, 2 tbsp flour, 1 apple.

Preparation: Peel and grate the apple, then mix all ingredients together. Spoon the batter onto a frying pan and fry the fritters on both sides over medium heat.

2. Rice Casserole

It will be even tastier if served with sour cream or jam.

You will need: 300 g cooked rice, 200 g sour cream, 2 eggs, 3 tbsp sugar, 1-2 handfuls of raisins.

Preparation: Rinse and dry the raisins. Mix all ingredients thoroughly, pour the mixture into a baking dish, and bake for 40 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius.

Feel free to use ready-made puff pastry – it's simple and delicious.

You will need: 350 g puff pastry, 1 chicken fillet, 2 cups cooked rice, 2 carrots, 1 onion, 1 egg, sesame seeds, salt, spices.

Preparation: Chop and sauté the onion with carrots until soft, then season to taste. Roll out half of the dough into a baking dish, spread the rice, then the vegetables, and finally the chicken pieces on top.

Cover with the second half of the dough and pinch the edges. Prick with a fork, brush with egg, and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired. Bake the pie for 35-40 minutes in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius.

10. Stuffed Peppers with Rice

You will need: 5-6 bell peppers, 2 cups cooked rice, 1 carrot, 1 onion, 1 tomato, 1 bunch of herbs, salt, paprika, dried garlic, other spices.

Preparation: Cut off the tops and remove the seeds from the peppers. Chop the onion, grate the carrot, and finely dice the tomato. Sauté the vegetables in a pan until soft, season, and mix them with chopped herbs and cooked rice.

Fill the peppers with the prepared stuffing, place them in an oven-safe dish, and pour water or broth to your taste, so that the liquid covers one-third of the peppers. Cover with foil and bake for about 30 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius. Then remove the foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes.

Pour half of the dough into a baking dish, spread the filling, and pour the remaining dough over it. Bake the pie for 30-35 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius.
