Preparation: Cut the beef into pieces, carrots into sticks, and onions into half-rings. Fry the meat in an Afghan kazan until golden, add onions, and after 5 minutes, add carrots. After another 5 minutes, add chickpeas, spices, raisins, and the head of garlic.

Pour boiling water over everything, so that the water covers the contents by one centimeter. Close the kazan and cook for 10 minutes. Add the rinsed rice, close the lid, and cook the pilaf for another 7 minutes. Stir and serve on plates.
