Juicy and tender braised cabbage with sausages, cooked in an air fryer, is perfect for a home dinner. An air fryer allows you to get an excellent dish without long hours in the kitchen. We share a simple step-by-step recipe that will be easy to replicate!

Servings: 4.

Ingredients

  • 700-800 g white cabbage;
  • 350 g sausages;
  • 1 onion;
  • 1 carrot;
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste;
  • 80 ml water;
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil;
  • 1 bay leaf;
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper;
  • 1 teaspoon salt.

Step-by-step recipe

  1. Finely shred the cabbage, peel and grate the carrot on a coarse grater, and slice the onion into half-rings. Slice the sausages into rounds.
  2. Place the cabbage, carrots, onions, and sausages into a heatproof dish.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the tomato paste with water, vegetable oil, ground black pepper, and salt. Add the bay leaf and pour this sauce over the vegetables.
  4. Gently stir the contents and cover the dish with foil.
  5. Cook the dish for approximately 30 minutes in the air fryer at 180 degrees Celsius (350°F). Then, remove the foil, stir, and cook for another 10-15 minutes.
