When braised in sour cream sauce in a skillet, they become especially tender and literally soak up its flavor. This dish is convenient to serve with any side dish or even on its own. Ingredients
- 600 g ground chicken;
- 1 onion;
- 2 tablespoons rice or wheat flour;
- 200 ml sour cream, 15% fat;
- 150 ml chicken broth;
- 1 teaspoon dried basil;
- 1/2 teaspoon ground paprika;
- 1 teaspoon salt;
- vegetable oil for frying.
Step-by-step recipe
- Peel and grate the onion finely, mix it with ground chicken, flour, and half of the salt.
- Form small meatballs, about the size of a walnut.
- Heat a skillet with vegetable oil and fry the meatballs for 3-4 minutes, turning them carefully.
- Separately, mix sour cream, chicken broth, dried basil, paprika, and the remaining salt.
- Pour the prepared sour cream sauce into the skillet and cook the meatballs for another 12-15 minutes, covered, over low heat.
