Ingredients
- 10 lasagna sheets;
- 600 g chicken mince;
- 1 onion;
- 1 carrot;
- 400 g canned tomatoes (in their own juice);
- 150 g hard cheese;
- 250 ml milk;
- 30 g butter;
- 25 g wheat flour;
- 2 cloves garlic;
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano;
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper;
- 1 teaspoon salt;
- vegetable oil for frying.
Step-by-step recipe
- Finely chop the onion, grate the carrot on a coarse grater, press the garlic through a press, and grate the cheese.
- Fry the chicken mince for 5-6 minutes in a preheated pan with vegetable oil, breaking up any clumps with a spatula.
- Add the onion, carrot, and garlic to the mince, cook for another 5 minutes, then add the canned tomatoes, oregano, ground black pepper, and salt. Simmer the meat filling for about 10 minutes.
- Separately, melt the butter in a small saucepan, add the flour, and stir. Gradually pour in the milk, constantly whisking. Cook the sauce until it slightly thickens.
- Spread a little white sauce in a heatproof dish, then layer with lasagna sheets, some of the meat filling, more white sauce, and a little cheese. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used. The last layer should be white sauce and grated cheese.
- Cook the lasagna for approximately 30-35 minutes in an air fryer at 180 degrees Celsius (350°F). Be sure to let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
