One of the healthiest patty options is chicken patties with zucchini baked in the oven. They turn out juicy and golden brown, have a tender texture, and are suitable even for a child's diet. Zucchini itself adds almost no flavor but greatly improves the texture of the minced meat. Try making these patties using our recipe!

Ingredients

  • 800 g ground chicken;
  • 1 medium zucchini;
  • 1 onion;
  • 1 chicken egg;
  • 3 tablespoons instant oatmeal;
  • 2 cloves garlic;
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley;
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground paprika;
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper;
  • 1 teaspoon salt.

Step-by-Step Recipe

  1. Peel and grate the zucchini on a coarse grater, let it sit for 10 minutes, and squeeze out the juice. Separately, finely grate the onion and press the garlic through a press.
  2. Combine the ground chicken with zucchini, onion, garlic, egg, oatmeal, parsley, salt, and all spices. You can add other spices to your taste.
  3. Let the mixture rest for 15 minutes so the oatmeal can swell slightly. Then form the patties and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. If desired, lightly sprinkle the patties with water to keep them juicier.
  5. Place the chicken patties in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius (350°F) and bake for approximately 35-40 minutes. Enjoy your meal!
