Ingredients

  • 800 g chicken breast or thigh fillet;
  • 300 g champignons (button mushrooms);
  • 1 onion;
  • 60 ml soy sauce;
  • 2 cloves garlic;
  • 1 teaspoon honey;
  • 1 teaspoon dried ginger;
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper;
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds;
  • vegetable oil for frying.

Step-by-Step Recipe

  1. Wash and pat dry the chicken fillet with paper towels, then cut into thin strips.
  2. Rinse and slice the mushrooms, and cut the peeled onion into half-rings.
  3. Mix the soy sauce with honey, dried ginger, ground black pepper, and garlic pressed through a garlic press.
  4. Fry the chicken for 5-6 minutes in preheated oil in a pan over high heat.
  5. Add the onion and mushrooms and cook for another 6-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. After that, pour in the sauce and heat everything together for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened. Sprinkle the finished dish with sesame seeds before serving.
