Ingredients
- 2 zucchinis;
- 4 tablespoons cornstarch;
- 1 teaspoon sweet paprika;
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano;
- 1/2 teaspoon dried garlic;
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper;
- 1 teaspoon salt;
- vegetable oil for frying.
Step-by-step recipe
- Wash and cut the zucchini into sticks about 1 cm thick. Salt them, leave for 10 minutes, then pat dry thoroughly with paper towels.
- Mix the cornstarch with all the spices and coat the zucchini in this mixture.
- Fry the zucchini for 2-3 minutes on all sides in a preheated pan with vegetable oil.
- Ready fried zucchini can be sprinkled with chopped herbs and garlic.
- Serve immediately after cooking, before the crust softens. A garlic sauce based on sour cream or mayonnaise will be a great addition to this appetizer.
