Fried Rice with Seafood – Step-by-Step Recipe

Seafood makes it tastier and more interesting, while keeping the dish light. A perfect recipe for a quick dinner when you want to cook something a little out of the ordinary!

Ingredients
- 300 g rice;
- 500 g seafood mix;
- 1 carrot;
- 1 onion;
- 2 cloves garlic;
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce;
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil;
- 3 green onion stalks;
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper;
- vegetable oil for frying.
Step-by-Step Recipe
- Cook the rice in advance, or you can even use leftover rice from yesterday. Peel and grate the carrot, finely chop both types of onion, and press the garlic through a press.
- Add the chopped onion and carrot to a pan with heated vegetable oil and cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
- Add the seafood and fry for 3-4 minutes over high heat.
- After that, add the rice, pour in the soy sauce and sesame oil, season with pepper, and mix thoroughly.
- Cook the dish for another 2-3 minutes, remove from heat, and sprinkle with chopped green onions.
