Fried Shrimp Spring Rolls – Step-by-Step Recipe

Ingredients
- 10 sheets of rice paper;
- 300 g peeled shrimp;
- 1 carrot;
- 80 g white cabbage;
- 2 cloves garlic;
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce;
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper;
- vegetable oil for frying.
Step-by-step recipe
- Fry the shrimp for 1-2 minutes in oil in a pan, let them cool, then finely chop them.
- Peel and grate the carrot on a coarse grater, thinly shred the cabbage, and press the garlic through a press.
- Mix the fried shrimp with carrots, cabbage, garlic, soy sauce, and ground black pepper.
- One by one, dip the rice paper sheets into warm water for 10-15 seconds until they become soft. Place the filling on the edge of each sheet and roll them into tight rolls.
- Fry the spring rolls for about 2-3 minutes on each side in a hot pan with vegetable oil until golden and crispy.
- Transfer the finished rolls to paper towels to remove excess oil.
