Even lean cuts of meat can be transformed into a juicy and appetizing steak if you follow a few simple rules. For pork loin, for example, it's especially important to choose the right temperature and not overcook it in the pan. We're sharing an excellent, tried-and-tested recipe!

Ingredients

  • 500 g pork loin;
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil;
  • 30 g butter;
  • 2 sprigs rosemary;
  • 2 cloves garlic;
  • 1 teaspoon salt;
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper.

Step-by-Step Recipe

  1. Rinse and pat dry the pork loin with paper towels. Cut the meat into steaks about 2 cm thick.
  2. Peel and crush the garlic with the flat side of a knife. Season the steaks with salt and ground black pepper.
  3. Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil over high heat. Sear the steaks for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Then add the butter, garlic, and rosemary. Reduce the heat to medium and cook the meat for another 3-4 minutes, periodically basting with the aromatic oil.
  5. Transfer the steaks to a warm plate and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy your meal!
