Preparation: Lightly freeze and grate the crab sticks. Also grate the hard and processed cheeses, and mix all ingredients together, setting aside some grated crab sticks. Form balls from the mixture and roll them in the reserved crab stick shreds. Refrigerate the finished appetizer to let it set slightly before serving.

Grate the remaining onion, finely chop the herbs, mix them with the ground meat and rice. Lightly season the mixture, form meatballs, and add them to the sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes, then reduce heat and simmer for another 10-12 minutes until cooked through.

You will need: 250 g pasta, 3-4 chicken thigh fillets, 300 g cherry tomatoes, 150 g hard cheese, garlic, herbs, salt, spices.

Preparation: Cook pasta according to package instructions. Chop and fry chicken with spices until golden brown, then set aside. Mince and lightly fry garlic in the same pan, add halved cherry tomatoes and pour in 1/2 cup of pasta water.

Lightly simmer the tomatoes, then add the chicken and pasta. Heat everything together for another 1 minute, sprinkle with grated cheese, mix, and heat for another 1 minute. Sprinkle with herbs when serving.

You will need: 4 potatoes, 2 zucchini, 2 carrots, 2 bell peppers, 1 tomato, butter, salt, spices.

Preparation: Chop all vegetables for the stew. Cover carrots and potatoes with water, bring to a boil, and cook for 10-12 minutes until tender. Then drain some of the water if there's too much, and add zucchini and bell pepper to the saucepan.

Simmer for 5-7 minutes, then add the tomatoes. Season and simmer the stew for another 10-15 minutes over low heat. A few minutes before the end of cooking, add a piece of butter.

You will need: 500 g sweet potato, 2 tbsp olive oil, 0.5 tsp salt.

Preparation: Peel and cut the sweet potato into sticks. Drizzle with olive oil, salt, and season if desired. Arrange in a single layer on parchment paper, then bake for 30-35 minutes in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius.

You will need: 1 cup bulgur, 1 onion, 1 carrot, 1 bell pepper, 2 tomatoes, 100 g frozen green peas, herbs, salt, spices.

Preparation: Rinse the bulgur and finely chop the vegetables. Lightly sauté the onion with the carrot, add the bulgur and fry for another 3-5 minutes, stirring. Add the remaining vegetables and peas, season, and pour in 2 cups of hot water. Bring to a boil and cook for 20 minutes under a lid over low heat.

A very unusual, yet accessible side dish that fits perfectly with the theme of 2026.

You will need: 200 g corn grits, 100 g cottage cheese, 100 g hard cheese, 1 cup milk, 1 clove garlic, herbs, salt.

Preparation: Rinse the corn grits and cover with 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil and cook for 5-7 minutes, then pour in the milk and reduce heat. Cook until done, stirring occasionally – 20-25 minutes. Grate the cheese and mix half of it into the polenta.

Then spread the porridge into a baking dish in an even layer about 10 mm thick and let it cool. Mix cottage cheese, finely chopped herbs, and crushed garlic, and spread this mixture evenly over the porridge. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese and bake for 10 minutes in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius.

New Year's sweets for children are a special kind of magic. Each dessert in this section looks festive and appetizing, but is not overloaded with sugar or complex creams!

You will need: 400 g cottage cheese, 200 g cookies, 2 bananas, 1 tbsp orange juice, 1 tsp orange zest, sugar or honey, coconut flakes.

Preparation: Mash 1 banana into a puree and mix it with cottage cheese, zest, orange juice, and sugar or honey until smooth. Crush the cookies into crumbs and gradually add them to the cottage cheese mixture. Form balls with pieces of whole banana inside and roll them in coconut flakes. Refrigerate the dessert for several hours to set.

You will need: 300 g canned pineapple, 3 mandarins, 3 kiwis, 2 pears, 1-2 oranges, 2-3 bananas, yogurt.

You will need: 150 g shortbread cookies, 50 g butter, 400 g cream cheese or cottage cheese, 100 ml heavy cream, 100 g sugar, 20 g gelatin, 100 ml water, 6 mandarins.

Preparation: Crush cookies into crumbs, mix with butter, press the resulting base into a cheesecake pan, and refrigerate. Dissolve half of the gelatin in 50 ml of water according to package instructions.

Blend cream cheese, cream, gelatin, and 80 g sugar until smooth. Pour this mixture over the base and refrigerate until set. Dissolve the remaining gelatin in the remaining water, add the juice from all mandarins and the remaining sugar, and mix. Pour the jelly over the cheesecake and refrigerate again.

Simple to prepare and incredibly aromatic!

You will need: 200 g butter, 2 eggs, 180 g sugar, 450-500 g flour, 80 ml lemon juice, 50 g lemon zest, 15 g baking powder, 1 pinch salt, brown sugar and powdered sugar.

Preparation: Cream soft butter with sugar until fluffy using a mixer. Add eggs, lemon juice, and zest, beat again, and gradually add flour with baking powder and salt. Knead thoroughly, wrap the dough in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Then divide the dough into pieces, form balls, and roll each one first in brown sugar, then in powdered sugar. Slightly flatten, place on parchment paper, and bake for 12-15 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius.

Panna Cotta with Jam

Choose red or orange jam – in the best traditions of New Year 2026.

You will need: 200 ml 33-35% cream, 300 ml baked milk, 50-60 g brown sugar, 30 g vanilla sugar, 15 g gelatin, thick jam, salt, ground cinnamon.

Preparation: Mix cream, milk, both types of sugar, a little cinnamon, and a pinch of salt, heat this mixture over medium heat, and reduce it by about a third for approximately 10 minutes.

Dissolve gelatin in water according to package instructions, pour it into the milk mixture, and stir. Blend the mixture until completely smooth and pour into dessert bowls. Refrigerate the resulting panna cotta until set, then decorate with jam.
