Mackerel with Lemon in Foil in the Oven – A Delicious Recipe

Ingredients
- 2 mackerel;
- 1 lemon;
- 2 cloves garlic;
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil;
- 1 teaspoon dried dill;
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper;
- 1 teaspoon salt.
Step-by-step recipe
- Rinse and pat dry the mackerel with paper towels. Make several shallow cuts on each side with a knife.
- Slice the lemon into thin rounds and press the garlic through a press.
- Mix the vegetable oil with garlic, dried dill, ground black pepper, and salt. Rub the fish inside and out with this marinade.
- Place a few lemon slices into the belly of each mackerel and wrap the fish in foil. Transfer the packets to a baking sheet.
- Bake the mackerel for 30-35 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius (350°F).
