Mushrooms in Sour Cream with Onions in a Pan – Step-by-Step Recipe

Ingredients
- 600 g champignons (button mushrooms);
- 1-2 onions;
- 2 cloves garlic;
- 200 ml sour cream, 20% fat;
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley;
- 1 tablespoon wheat flour;
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme;
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper;
- 1 teaspoon salt;
- vegetable oil for frying.
Step-by-Step Recipe
- Wash, pat dry, and slice the mushrooms into large pieces. Cut the peeled onion into half-rings.
- Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil and sauté the onion for 4-5 minutes until soft.
- Add the mushrooms and cook them for 8-10 minutes over high heat until the excess liquid evaporates.
- Peel and press the garlic. Mix the sour cream with flour, garlic, thyme, salt, and ground black pepper until smooth and lump-free.
- Pour this sour cream sauce into the pan, stir, and cook the dish for 5-7 minutes over low heat. Before serving, sprinkle the mushrooms with chopped parsley.
