Pasta with Shrimp and Pesto Sauce – a Delicious Step-by-Step Recipe

Ingredients
- 300 g pasta;
- 400 g peeled shrimp;
- 100-150 g cherry tomatoes;
- 3 tablespoons pesto sauce;
- 30 g Parmesan or other hard cheese;
- 2 cloves garlic;
- 2 tablespoons chopped basil;
- 30 g butter;
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper;
- 1 teaspoon salt.
Step-by-Step Recipe
- Cook the pasta al dente according to package instructions. Drain, reserving some of the pasta water. Separately, wash and halve the cherry tomatoes, chop the basil, grate the cheese, and finely mince the garlic.
- Sauté the garlic in melted butter in a pan for 30 seconds, add the shrimp and cook for another 2 minutes, stirring.
- Add the cherry tomatoes, pesto sauce, and 2-3 tablespoons of reserved pasta water to the pan. Stir.
- Then add the pasta and grated cheese, and gently mix all ingredients again.
- Heat the dish for 1-2 minutes and sprinkle with chopped basil.
