Ingredients
- 300 g pasta;
- 500 g peeled shrimp;
- 250 ml cream (20% fat);
- 40 g hard cheese;
- 2-3 cloves garlic;
- 30 g butter;
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil;
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper;
- 1 teaspoon salt.
Step-by-Step Recipe
- Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente according to package instructions. Drain the water, reserving about 100 ml of the pasta water.
- Press the garlic through a press and sauté it for 30 seconds in a heated pan with butter. Add the shrimp and cook for 2 minutes.
- Pour in the cream, add the grated cheese, dried basil, ground black pepper, and salt. Stir and cook the sauce for 3-4 minutes.
- Add the pasta to the pan with the shrimp and creamy sauce. If necessary, pour in a little of the reserved pasta water and gently mix.
- Cook the dish for another 1-2 minutes, and sprinkle with chopped herbs before serving, if desired.
