Fish is a delicate product, so it's important to preserve its tender texture. And that's where the air fryer comes in handy! Pollock steaks baked in an air fryer turn out very juicy and, in addition, don't require extra oil for cooking. We're sharing a simple, proven recipe!

Prep time: 35 minutes.
Servings: 4.

Ingredients

  • 800 g pollock steaks;
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil;
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice;
  • 2 cloves garlic;
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil;
  • 1/2 teaspoon sweet paprika;
  • 1 teaspoon salt;
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper.

Step-by-Step Recipe

  1. Thaw pollock steaks if necessary, rinse, and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Peel and press garlic through a press. Mix it with olive oil, lemon juice, dried basil, paprika, salt, and ground black pepper.
  3. Brush the steaks with the prepared marinade and let them marinate for 15 minutes.
  4. After that, place the pollock in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook the steaks for approximately 18-20 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius (350°F).
  5. 5 minutes before the end of cooking, increase the temperature to 200 degrees Celsius (400°F) to lightly brown the steaks.
