Pork Goulash with Tomato Gravy in a Skillet

Pork goulash with tomato gravy in a skillet is made from simple ingredients and without any complex techniques. The meat turns out tender and well-infused with the sauce. Ingredients
- 700 g pork shoulder;
- 1 onion;
- 1 carrot;
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste;
- 1 tablespoon wheat flour;
- 400 ml water;
- 1 teaspoon sweet paprika;
- 1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram;
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper;
- 1 teaspoon salt;
- vegetable oil for frying.
Step-by-step recipe
- Cut the pork into small pieces, finely chop the onion, and grate the carrot on a coarse grater.
- Fry the meat for 8-10 minutes in a preheated skillet with vegetable oil. Then add the onion and carrot to the meat and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle everything with flour, paprika, and marjoram. Stir, add the tomato paste, and heat everything together for 1 minute.
- Then pour in hot water, add salt and ground black pepper. Cover and simmer the goulash for another 35-40 minutes.
- Serve the finished goulash with mashed potatoes, rice, or pasta.
