Prep time: 4 hours.
Servings: 6.
Ingredients
- 1.2 kg pork tenderloin;
- 2 onions;
- 3 cloves garlic;
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil;
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce;
- 1 teaspoon sweet paprika;
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander;
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper;
- 1 teaspoon salt.
Step-by-step recipe
- Wash and pat dry the pork tenderloin with paper towels. Cut the meat into large, uniform pieces, about 4-5 cm in size.
- Peel the onions and slice them into half-rings. Press the garlic through a press. Mix the onions, garlic, vegetable oil, soy sauce, salt, paprika, coriander, and ground black pepper.
- Add the pork to the marinade and mix thoroughly, gently squeezing the onions with your hands. Cover the bowl and refrigerate to marinate for 3-4 hours.
- After marinating, thread the pork pieces onto skewers, leaving small gaps between them.
- Grill the shashlik for approximately 12-15 minutes over well-burned coals, turning the skewers regularly. Let the cooked shashlik rest for 5 minutes before serving.
