An air fryer helps reduce kitchen time and create an appetizing dish without excess fat. Rice with chicken and vegetables, cooked in an air fryer, is equally suitable for both adult and children's menus. Take note of our delicious recipe!

Ingredients

  • 250 g long-grain rice;
  • 500 g chicken breast or thigh fillet;
  • 1 carrot;
  • 1 onion;
  • 1 bell pepper;
  • 120 g canned corn;
  • 450 ml hot water;
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil;
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric;
  • 1 teaspoon salt;
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper.

Step-by-step recipe

  1. Rinse the rice several times until the water runs clear. Wash and pat dry the chicken fillet with paper towels and cut into small cubes.
  2. Peel and thinly slice the onion, carrot, and bell pepper. Drain the liquid from the canned corn.
  3. Combine the rice, chicken, all vegetables, and canned corn in an oven-safe dish suitable for an air fryer.
  4. Add vegetable oil, turmeric, salt, and ground black pepper. Pour in the hot water and mix gently.
  5. Cover the dish tightly with foil and bake for about 35 minutes in the air fryer at 180 degrees Celsius. After that, remove the foil and leave the rice in the turned-off air fryer for another 5-7 minutes.
