Soft and Juicy Turkey Steaks in the Oven – Step-by-Step Recipe

When cooked correctly, turkey steaks turn out soft, juicy, and not at all dry. And baking them in the oven helps preserve their texture and doesn't require extra oil! We're sharing a tried-and-true recipe!

Ingredients
- 800 g turkey steaks;
- 2 tablespoons natural yogurt;
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil;
- 2 cloves garlic;
- 1 teaspoon sweet paprika;
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano;
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper;
- 1 teaspoon salt.
Step-by-step recipe
- If you have a whole piece of turkey fillet – slice it into medium-thick steaks.
- Mix thick yogurt, vegetable oil, minced garlic, salt, ground black pepper, paprika, and oregano. Coat the steaks with the prepared marinade and let them marinate for 15-20 minutes.
- After that, transfer the turkey steaks to a baking dish, cover with foil, and bake for 30 minutes in an oven preheated to 190 degrees Celsius (375°F).
- Then remove the foil and cook the steaks for another 10-12 minutes until lightly golden brown.
