Ingredients

  • 100 g butter;
  • 2 chicken eggs;
  • 200 ml sour cream, 15-20% fat;
  • 500-600 g wheat flour;
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder;
  • salt and sugar to taste.

Step-by-step recipe

  1. Whisk the eggs with sour cream until smooth, then add salt and sugar. The amount depends on whether you want sweet or savory flatbreads.
  2. Pour in the melted butter and whisk again.
  3. Gradually add the sifted flour with baking powder and knead a smooth dough. Adjust the amount of flour according to the dough's consistency, depending on the thickness of the sour cream.
  4. Divide the dough into approximately 12 portions, depending on the desired number of flatbreads.
  5. Roll out round flatbreads, prick them with a fork, and place them on parchment paper.
  6. Bake the flatbreads for about 15-20 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius. Enjoy your meal!
