Steamed Fish Cakes in a Multicooker – Step-by-Step RecipeSource: Peredniankina, AdobeStock

Steamed fish cakes turn out especially tender and retain the natural taste of the fish. A multicooker allows you to prepare them effortlessly and with minimal involvement. This dish is an excellent option for a light lunch, dinner, or a children's menu! We share a simple step-by-step recipe!

Preparation time: 45 minutes.
Servings: 8.

Ingredients

  • 600 g pollock fillet;
  • 1 onion;
  • 1 chicken egg;
  • 2 tablespoons semolina;
  • 2 tablespoons chopped dill;
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried garlic;
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper;
  • 1 teaspoon salt.

Step-by-Step Recipe

  1. Pass the pollock fillet through a meat grinder, grate the onion finely, and finely chop the dill.
  2. Mix the fish mince with onion, egg, semolina, dill, dried garlic, ground pepper, and salt. Let the mince rest for 10-15 minutes.
  3. With wet hands, form small patties from the mince and place them in a steaming container.
  4. Pour water into the multicooker bowl and cook the fish cakes for approximately 20-25 minutes in "Steam" mode.
