Ingredients
- 700 g tilapia fillet;
- 250 ml cream, 20% fat;
- 1 onion;
- 2 cloves garlic;
- 2 sprigs parsley;
- 30 g butter;
- 1 teaspoon dried basil;
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper;
- 1 teaspoon salt.
Step-by-Step Recipe
- Cut the thawed tilapia fillet into large pieces, and the peeled onion into small cubes.
- Sauté the onion for 3-4 minutes in a hot pan with butter. Finely chop the garlic and add it to the pan for another 30 seconds.
- Add the tilapia pieces and fry the fish for 2 minutes on each side.
- Pour in the cream, add basil, ground black pepper, and salt.
- Cover the pan and simmer the tilapia in cream sauce for 7-8 minutes over low heat. Before serving, sprinkle the dish with chopped parsley.
