Ingredients
- 4 trout steaks;
- 200 g sour cream, 20% fat;
- 2 cloves garlic;
- 40 g hard cheese;
- 2 tablespoons chopped dill;
- 1 teaspoon dried basil;
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper;
- 1 teaspoon salt.
Step-by-Step Recipe
- Rinse and pat dry the trout steaks with paper towels. Grate the cheese on a fine grater, finely chop the dill, and press the garlic through a press.
- Mix the sour cream with garlic, dill, basil, ground black pepper, and salt.
- Transfer the steaks to a baking dish and evenly cover them with the sour cream sauce. Sprinkle with grated cheese on top.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius (350°F). After that, remove the foil and bake the trout steaks for another 8-10 minutes until a golden cheese crust forms.
