Ingredients

  • 800 g tuna fillet;
  • 200-250 ml cream, 20% fat;
  • 1 onion;
  • 2 cloves garlic;
  • 30 g butter;
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil;
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper;
  • 1 teaspoon salt.

Step-by-step recipe

  1. Rinse, pat dry, and cut the tuna fillet into large serving pieces. Finely chop the onion and press the garlic through a press.
  2. Sauté the onion in heated butter until soft, add the garlic, and fry for another 30 seconds.
  3. Next, add the tuna pieces and cook them for 1.5-2 minutes on each side.
  4. After that, pour in the cream, add basil, ground black pepper, and salt. Cover the pan with a lid and cook the dish for another 4-5 minutes over low heat.
