Tuna Fillet with Vegetables in the Oven – A Simple and Delicious Recipe

Moreover, it's a healthy dish that easily fits into a dietary and healthy eating plan. We're sharing a tried-and-true recipe!

Ingredients
- 600 g tuna fillet;
- 2 bell peppers;
- 1 zucchini;
- 1 red onion;
- 200 g cherry tomatoes;
- 2 tablespoons olive oil;
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano;
- 1/2 teaspoon ground paprika;
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper;
- 1 teaspoon salt.
Step-by-step recipe
- Rinse and pat dry the tuna fillet with paper towels. Cut the fish into large, portion-sized pieces.
- Wash and coarsely chop the vegetables, and halve the cherry tomatoes.
- Mix the olive oil with oregano, paprika, ground black pepper, and salt. Brush the tuna with 1/3 of the aromatic marinade, and toss the vegetables with the remaining portion.
- After that, transfer the vegetables to a baking dish and bake for 15 minutes in an oven preheated to 190 degrees Celsius (375°F).
- Then, remove the dish, arrange the tuna pieces on top, and lightly drizzle them with the juices released by the vegetables.
- Return the dish to the oven for another 12-15 minutes at the same temperature. Do not bake the tuna for too long, otherwise it will become dry.
