Tuna is a delicate product that requires careful handling. The goal is not to spoil it, but rather to highlight its wonderful taste and extraordinary texture. Tuna steaks baked in foil in the oven perfectly accomplish this task. And anyone can follow our step-by-step recipe!

Prep time: 40 minutes.
Servings: 4.

Ingredients

  • 4 tuna steaks;
  • 2 cloves garlic;
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil;
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice;
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme;
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley;
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper;
  • 1 teaspoon salt.

Step-by-Step Recipe

  1. Rinse and pat dry the tuna steaks with paper towels. Press the garlic and finely chop the parsley.
  2. Mix the olive oil with lemon juice, garlic, thyme, ground black pepper, salt, and half of the parsley.
  3. Brush the steaks with the prepared marinade and let them marinate for 15 minutes.
  4. After marinating, wrap each steak in a separate sheet of foil and transfer to a baking sheet.
  5. Bake the tuna for approximately 15-18 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius (350°F). Sprinkle with the remaining parsley before serving.
