Ingredients
- 2 rainbow trout;
- 1 lemon;
- 2 tablespoons olive oil;
- 2 cloves garlic;
- 3 sprigs parsley;
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano;
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper;
- 1 teaspoon salt.
Step-by-Step Recipe
- Rinse and pat the trout dry with paper towels. Make 3-4 shallow cuts on each side with a knife. Slice the lemon into rounds, and press the garlic through a press.
- Mix the olive oil with garlic, oregano, ground black pepper, and salt. Thoroughly rub the fish inside and out with this marinade.
- Place lemon slices and parsley sprigs into the cavity of each trout.
- Transfer the fish to a baking dish lined with parchment paper.
- Bake the trout for 30-35 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius (350°F).
