Ingredients
- 1.5 cups green buckwheat;
- 3 tablespoons chia seeds;
- 3 tablespoons olive oil;
- 1.5 teaspoons apple cider vinegar;
- 1.5 teaspoons baking soda;
- 3-5 tablespoons seeds, nuts, dried fruits, and other additions to taste;
- salt.
Step-by-step recipe
- Rinse the green buckwheat and soak it in cold water for at least 3 hours.
- After soaking, drain it in a colander, rinse again, and let it drain slightly.
- While the buckwheat is draining, soak the chia seeds in 6 tablespoons of water for 10 minutes.
- Blend the buckwheat, but not until completely smooth. Let some texture remain.
- Add the chia seeds, salt, baking soda, apple cider vinegar, and olive oil, then mix again. Additionally, fold in any desired additions to taste.
- Transfer the dough to a baking pan and bake the buckwheat bread for about 1 hour in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius (390°F). The baking time may vary slightly depending on your oven.
- Remove the bread from the pan, let it cool, and only then slice it.
