1. Classic Christmas Kutia

You will need: 1 cup wheat, 500 ml water, 100 g poppy seeds, 100 g raisins, 100 g walnuts, 50 g honey, 1 tsp salt, 1 tbsp sugar.
Preparation: Rinse the wheat, steam the raisins, toast the nuts in a dry pan and chop them. Pour about 400 ml of water over the wheat, bring to a boil over medium heat, salt after 10 minutes, and cook until tender over minimum heat with the lid on.
Rinse the poppy seeds, add 50-70 ml of water, and simmer for half an hour over low heat. Add another 50 ml of water, simmer a little more, then grind the poppy seeds with sugar in a mortar or with a blender. Mix all ingredients together.
