1. Milk Bread in an Air Fryer

You can also use water instead of milk if you need lean bread.

You will need: 1 cup milk, 3 cups flour, 2 tsp dry yeast, 2.5 tsp sugar, 1.5 tsp salt, 3 tbsp vegetable oil.

Preparation: Mix the dry ingredients, pour in the warm milk, and knead a smooth dough. Add vegetable oil during kneading and leave the dough in a warm place for 1 hour. Then shape it into a loaf. If desired, make an incision and sprinkle with flour, or alternatively, brush with egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Place the loaf in a parchment-lined air fryer basket, put it on the lower rack, and leave for 15 minutes at 60 degrees. Without opening the air fryer, increase the temperature to 150 degrees and bake the bread for another 20 minutes. Then remove the finished loaf, place it on a wire rack, cover with a towel, and let it cool completely.

You will need: 250 g rye flour, 100 g wheat flour, 15 g fresh yeast, 200 ml water, 1 tsp sugar, 0.5 tsp salt.

Preparation: Crumble the fresh yeast, mix it with sugar, pour in warm water, and stir until dissolved. Sift the wheat flour into this mixture and leave the resulting sponge in a warm place for half an hour.

Then add the rye flour and salt, knead a smooth dough, shape it into a loaf, and place it in a parchment-lined air fryer basket. Leave it for 1 hour in the switched-off appliance, then bake the bread for approximately 15 minutes at 200 degrees, and then for another 30 minutes at 180 degrees.

3. Water Bread with Egg in an Air Fryer

Simple, yet surprisingly soft dough that rises very evenly.

You will need: 200 ml water, 1 egg, 400-450 g flour, 8 g dry yeast, 1 tbsp sugar, 0.5 tsp salt, 3 tbsp vegetable oil.

Preparation: Mix warm water, salt, sugar, and dry yeast, add a few spoons of flour, stir, and leave in a warm place for 15 minutes. Pour in the vegetable oil, add the remaining flour, knead the dough, and leave it in a warm place for 40 minutes. Then shape one or more loaves, place them on parchment paper, put them in the switched-off air fryer for 20 minutes, and then bake the bread for approximately 20 minutes at 170 degrees.

4. French Bread in an Air Fryer

You will need: 250 g flour, 6 g fresh yeast, 180 ml water, 5 g salt.

Preparation: Knead a smooth dough from all ingredients and leave it in a warm place for 2-3 hours. During this time, punch down the dough several times. Shape it into a loaf, let it rest for 15 minutes, and then leave it for another 1-2 hours for proofing. If desired, make some cuts and transfer the loaf to a parchment-lined air fryer basket.
