It's impossible to imagine summer without delicious boiled corn. Sun, warmth, relaxation, and, of course, corn! At home, on the beach, or at the dacha – it's long been more than just a snack, it's a real tradition. Want to boil it perfectly – so the kernels are soft but not mushy, juicy, and sweet? 1. Classic Boiled Corn

The hardest part here is finding a pot that fits the cobs.

You will need: 4 ears of corn, salt.

Preparation: Rinse and clean the corn cobs of their leaves, then place some of these leaves at the bottom of the pot. Arrange the corn on top and cover with water, about 2 cm above the corn.

Bring to a boil over medium heat and cook the corn for 40-60 minutes, depending on its size. If it's very young, 15 minutes will be enough. You can check for readiness by simply pressing on the kernels. Afterward, transfer the cooked corn to a dish and sprinkle with salt or drizzle with oil as desired.

2. Boiled Corn in a Multicooker

If the cobs don't fit in the bowl, break them into several pieces.

You will need: 4 ears of corn, salt.

Preparation: Clean and place the corn cobs into the multicooker bowl. If there are many, arrange them vertically. Fill with water to the maximum level, select the "Steam" mode, and cook for 20 minutes. Afterward, leave the boiled corn inside for another 10 minutes, then remove, pat dry, and salt.

3. Boiled Corn with Sugar

You will need: 4 ears of corn, 1-2 tbsp sugar.

Preparation: Rinse and clean the corn cobs, place them in a pot of suitable diameter, add sugar, and cover with water. Bring to a boil over medium heat and cook until done – from 15 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the size and age of the cobs.

You will need: 4 ears of corn, salt.

Preparation: Wash and clean the corn of leaves. Fill the steamer compartment with water and place the cobs in the bowl in a single layer. If there are too many, use two levels. Turn on the steamer for about 15 minutes, wait for it to finish, release the steam, and remove the boiled corn. Salt it before serving.

6. Boiled Corn in Milk

You will need: 4 ears of corn, 1 cup milk, 1 liter water, 100 g butter, salt, sugar.

Preparation: Boil water and add milk, butter, as well as salt and sugar to taste. Submerge the rinsed and cleaned corn cobs, bring to a re-boil, and cook for about 15 minutes over low heat.
