Preparation: Wash and dry the black currants. Distribute them into zip-top bags laid flat on a cutting board. The preparations should be as flat as possible. Carefully press out the air or use a straw to suck it out. Seal and place the bags of currants in the freezer.

You will need: 500 g red or black currants, sugar.
Preparation: Sort and wash the currants, removing the stems. Using a blender or meat grinder, process the berries into a puree, add sugar to taste, and mix thoroughly until dissolved. Pour the mixture into molds and place everything in the freezer. If you freeze currants in ice cube trays, you can later transfer the resulting cubes to a zip-top bag for storage.
