Ingredients
- 1 kg small tomatoes;
- 1 bunch of cilantro;
- 1 bunch of parsley;
- 6 cloves of garlic;
- 1 hot pepper;
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander;
- 1 teaspoon salt;
- 500 ml water;
- 1 tablespoon sugar;
- 2 tablespoons 9% vinegar.
Step-by-Step Recipe
- Wash the tomatoes and make a deep cross-shaped incision on each, without cutting the fruits all the way through.
- Finely chop the cilantro, parsley, and hot pepper. Press the garlic through a press and mix everything with ground coriander.
- Carefully fill each tomato with the prepared stuffing.
- Separately dissolve salt, sugar, and vinegar in water. Transfer the tomatoes to a suitable container and pour this marinade over them.
- Cover the tomatoes with a plate and a small weight, and let them marinate for 1 day at room temperature. After that, refrigerate them for another 1-2 days.
- Serve the ready appetizer with boiled or baked potatoes, any porridges, and meat to taste. Enjoy your meal!
