Ingredients
- 800 g chicken gizzards;
- 1 onion;
- 2 chicken eggs;
- 80 g white bread;
- 80 ml milk;
- 2 cloves garlic;
- 3 tablespoons breadcrumbs;
- 1/2 teaspoon salt;
- ground black pepper to taste;
- vegetable oil for frying.
Step-by-step recipe
- Thoroughly wash the chicken gizzards, remove membranes and excess fat. Boil them for 40-45 minutes over low heat until tender, then cool completely.
- Soak the bread in milk and squeeze lightly. Pass the gizzards, onion, garlic, and softened bread through a meat grinder.
- Add eggs, salt, and ground black pepper, mix the mince thoroughly. If it turns out too soft, refrigerate it for 20 minutes.
- Form small patties, roll them in breadcrumbs, and place them on a preheated frying pan with vegetable oil.
- Fry the chicken gizzard patties for 4-5 minutes on each side over medium heat. Then cover the pan with a lid and simmer for another 5 minutes over low heat.
