We're sharing a proven shashlik recipe along with the marinade!
Preparation time: 1 hour 30 minutes.
Servings: 4.
Ingredients
- 800 g duck breast fillet;
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce;
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil;
- 1 tablespoon honey;
- 2 cloves garlic;
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme;
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper;
- 1 teaspoon salt.
Step-by-Step Recipe
- Rinse, pat dry, and cut the duck fillet into large, uniform pieces. You can remove some of the skin if there's too much.
- In a separate bowl, mix soy sauce, vegetable oil, honey, minced garlic, thyme, ground black pepper, and salt.
- Add the duck to the marinade, mix well, and let it marinate for 40-60 minutes.
- After marinating, thread the meat pieces onto skewers, leaving small gaps between them.
- Grill the duck breast shashlik for approximately 12-15 minutes over well-burnt coals, turning the skewers regularly. Before serving, let the meat rest for 5 minutes.
