Greek Salad with Napa Cabbage and Feta Cheese

Even classic recipes can be slightly altered without losing their recognizable taste. This Greek salad with Napa cabbage and feta cheese turns out more tender, juicy, and light thanks to the crispy cabbage leaves. And the fresh vegetables, aromatic dressing, and soft cheese still complement each other perfectly. Here's how to make it!

Prep time: 20 minutes.
Servings: 4.

Ingredients

  • 250 g Napa cabbage;
  • 200 g feta cheese (or fetaxa);
  • 200 g cherry tomatoes;
  • 1 cucumber;
  • 1 bell pepper;
  • 50 g pitted black olives;
  • 2-3 sprigs of basil or parsley;
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil;
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice;
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano;
  • ground black pepper to taste.

Step-by-step recipe

  1. Coarsely shred the Napa cabbage, slice the cherry tomatoes into wedges, the cucumber into half-moon slices, and the bell pepper into large strips or squares.
  2. Dice the feta cheese and separately mix the olive oil with lemon juice, oregano, and ground black pepper.
  3. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, pour the dressing over, and gently mix so that the feta cheese cubes retain their shape.
  4. Garnish the Greek salad with basil or parsley leaves and serve immediately. Enjoy!
