If you're tired of grilled meat, turn your attention to fish. Grilled sea bass on the barbecue turns out quite juicy, aromatic, and with a beautiful golden crust. The main thing is not to overcook it to preserve its delicate texture. We're sharing a simple and delicious recipe!

Prep time: 40 minutes.
Servings: 2.

Ingredients

  • 2 sea bass fillets, 400-500 g each;
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil;
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice;
  • 2 cloves garlic;
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme;
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground paprika;
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper;
  • 1 teaspoon salt.

Step-by-step recipe

  1. Clean the fish, remove the entrails and gills, rinse and pat dry the fillets. Make shallow cuts on the sides with a knife.
  2. Mix olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, thyme, paprika, ground black pepper, and salt.
  3. Rub the sea bass with this marinade inside and out and let it marinate for 20 minutes.
  4. Then, place the sea bass on an oiled grill grate and grill on the barbecue for about 12-15 minutes over well-burnt coals, turning occasionally. Done!
